As a nurse educator I highly recommend all nurses use some sort of shift planner on every shift regardless of how busy or not it might seem. This shift planner covers all shifts across 24 hours and can be used to track tasks, jot down notes, add reminders, help to write notes and help to cover all aspects of handover.
These shift planners will work for 4 patients if printed one-sided or 8 patients if printed double-sided and everything in between. Times can be changed on request or can be handwritten if needed.
